Self-drilling screws

Products

Self-drilling screws feature a drill-type tip that allows for drilling and fastening in a single step, eliminating the need for pre-drilling. They are ideal for direct fastening to sheet metal, profiles, or other metal surfaces, and are commonly used in roofing, enclosures, and quick-assembly metal structures.
Their design facilitates quick and precise installation, making them an efficient choice for metalwork, air conditioning systems, ventilation ducts and other industrial applications with thin materials or repetitive assemblies.

Self-drilling screws: precise fastening in sheet metal

At CHAVESBAO, we have a range of self-drilling screws manufactured in accordance with DIN 7504, ensuring compatibility with standard systems and reliable performance in metal fastenings. They are designed to drill through steel sheets up to 4 mm thick, galvanised profiles, aluminium and other materials with low structural density. We offer self-drilling screws with hexagonal heads for high-strength assemblies, countersunk versions for visible or decorative fastenings, and countersunk variants that allow for a flush finish on flat surfaces. Our range includes zinc-plated finishes for indoor or low-humidity applications, as well as A2 and A4 stainless steel options for outdoor installations or areas with high environmental exposure. Thanks to their dual function of drilling and fastening, these screws speed up assembly in ventilation systems, panel fastening, metal ducts and lightweight structures.
