Solid wire

Solid wire is a type of wire used in different welding processes such as MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and MAG (Metal Active Gas). In terms of composition, solid wire consists of a single metal which can be steel, stainless steel, aluminium or alloy. This metal normally coincides with the base material and acts as a filler material for this type of welding process.
