Sheet metal threaded screws

Products

Sheet metal threaded screws are designed to fasten sheet metal, thin profiles or other thin materials without the need for a nut. Their sharp thread cuts into the material during assembly, achieving a quick, secure and durable fastening. They are commonly used in light metalwork, industrial installations, ventilation and metal enclosures, both indoors and outdoors. These screws, also known as self-tapping sheet metal screws, allow for quick fastening to metal, creating their own thread in the guide hole without the need for welding, pre-existing threads or additional fasteners. They are easy to install and require only basic tools.

Self-tapping sheet metal screws: direct and efficient fastening in sheet metal

At CHAVESBAO, we have a selection of sheet metal threaded screws manufactured in accordance with DIN 7981 standards (with a rounded head, ideal for assemblies where the head is visible) and DIN 7982 standards (with a countersunk head, allowing for a flush finish). Available in different combinations of materials and lengths, they are designed to cover various types of direct fastenings on metal.

We also offer different material options, such as zinc-plated steel for indoor applications or A2 and A4 stainless steel, recommended for outdoor or humid environments. In terms of length, we offer both short formats for light fixings and longer sizes for applications in thicker metal structures, always guaranteeing a secure fixing without the need for pre-threading.
