Nuts for specific fastening solutions

At CHAVESBAO, we offer a range of other nuts designed to meet specific assembly needs that go beyond standard nuts. Manufactured in steel, A2/A4 stainless steel, or brass, and available in grades 04-17H, 05-22H, 6, 8, and HV 350-450, they come with different protective finishes such as black, zinc-plated, or hot-dip galvanized, ensuring mechanical strength and durability against corrosion.

Within this category, we highlight different types of special nuts, each with a technical design adapted to its function:

DIN 557 square nuts

Their four-sided shape provides broad, uniform support, making them ideal for fastenings in wood, metal structures and applications where high strength and stability are required.

DIN 439 and DIN 936 lock nuts

With a low profile, they are designed to work in conjunction with the main nut, reinforcing the tightening and preventing the joint from loosening. They are used in applications where safety and maintenance are essential.

DIN 935 (ISO 7035) crown nuts

They have slots in the upper part that allow the passage of safety pins, locking the screw and offering extra reliability in joints subjected to vibrations or dynamic stresses. Available in grade 8 steel and different finishes depending on the project requirements.

Weld nuts DIN 928 and DIN 929

With a square geometry, they are designed to be welded directly onto the part. They are very practical in metal structures and components where permanent, high-strength joints are required.

DIN 1587 cap nuts

Designed to cover and protect the screw thread, as well as providing a clean aesthetic finish. Available in A2/A4 stainless steel and nickel-plated brass, they are widely used in furniture, visible parts assembly and environments where extra protection against moisture or dirt is required.

DIN 6923 (EN 1661) flange nuts

They incorporate a knurled ball that improves the support surface and prevents loosening due to vibrations, reducing wear on the joined parts. They are used in machinery and structural assemblies that require uniform and secure tightening.

Wing nuts

Their ergonomic design with side wings allows for manual tightening and removal without the need for tools. They are very practical in quick assembly applications or frequent adjustments.

Special manufacturing to specification

At CHAVESBAO, we develop customised special nuts, adapted to projects that require specific dimensions, materials or coatings. Our technical team offers advice throughout the process, ensuring compliance with international standards and maximum safety and performance.
