Per page:

Oxy-fuel welding rods are used as filler material in processes that utilise a flame generated by the combustion of oxygen and a combustible gas.

This system allows the joint area to be heated and the material to be added manually, making it easier to work on parts of different shapes and thicknesses. This category includes bare and coated brass rods for repair, maintenance and industrial manufacturing operations.

Brass rods for flame brazing

Our brass rods are used as filler material in joints and repairs carried out using a flame. Manual application allows the amount of material added to be controlled and adapted to the size of the joint and the thickness of the parts.

In certain applications, they can be used for flame brazing. In this process, the rod melts and is distributed across the joint without the need to completely melt the base material.

Uncoated and coated brass rods

The VARILLA LAT is supplied uncoated and can be used with a separate flux where the procedure requires it.

The VARILLA LAT-REC has the flux incorporated around the core, which makes it easier to apply and avoids the need to add it separately during the work.

The choice between the two formats depends on the base material, the type of joint and the procedure used

Applications of oxy-acetylene welding rods

These rods are used in maintenance, repair and the manufacture of small components. Manual control of the flame and the filler material facilitates work on pipes, small parts and joints of various shapes.

To select the appropriate product code, the composition of the parts, the working temperature, the joint gap and the need to use flux must be taken into account.
