8.8 rods comply with the mechanical values defined by ISO 898-1 and come in two standard formats. DIN 975 corresponds to rods with continuous threading in long bars, designed to be cut to size and adapted to variable configurations on site. DIN 976 covers more defined lengths, suitable for repetitive assemblies or industrial series where a standardised format is required.
Both options use metric threading in accordance with ISO 261 and 965, ensuring compatibility with DIN 934 nuts and DIN 125 washers or DIN 9021. Their combination of strength, precision and ease of assembly makes them a reliable solution for machinery, light structures and technical supports.
The selection depends on the installation environment, the expected load and the supply format. The zinc-plated versions offered by CHAVESBAO are suitable for interiors or areas with moderate humidity, while hot-dip galvanising provides better durability in exteriors or exposed environments.
DIN 975 is the most practical option when flexibility or custom cuts are required on site. DIN 976 is more convenient for repetitive assemblies, as its standardised format speeds up preparation and assembly. Choosing the right coating and format ensures secure tightening and stable performance in industrial and construction applications.
