NFE washers are used in electrical and mechanical applications and are governed by the NFE standard (French Electricity Standard). This type of washer, thanks to its wavy shape, is suitable for joints where the fixing surface is not smooth. We have a selection of NFE 25515 washers and NFE 25513 washers.

NFE washers: specifications and characteristics

NFE washers are used in electrical or mechanical fasteners and are manufactured to standards that ensure reliability during application.

M type contact washer: it has knurls in the centre which provide a strong and secure tightening torque on all electrical or mechanical fastenings.
Moyenne M flat washer: This type of washer has a smooth surface and is of medium size. Perfect for standard fastenings.
Long washer L and extra long washer LL: in terms of materials and composition, these washers are very similar to the previous one, but have a larger width which allows for more bearing surface.
Narrow flat washer Z: this type of washer is narrower than a standard washer. It is used in fastenings where space is limited or where a more precise fit is required.

These washers are based on the NFE 25511 and NFE 25513 standards which set out the technical specifications for flat and lock washers used in industrial fasteners.
