Rotavator screw in black finish

Hexagonal bolts have a high holding capacity. Manufactured from various grades of steel, low strength, 8.8 and 10.9, with black, zinc plated and hot dip galvanised coatings. Also available in grades such as brass and stainless steel A2 and A4. They are suitable for work of the recommended loads. The range includes hexagon socket screws with and without DIN standard and under EN standard.

A catalogue featuring different types of hexagonal screws

Our catalogue brings together a wide range of hexagonal screws, designed to handle all kinds of professional applications. We have models with full or partial threads, manufactured in accordance with international standards such as DIN 933, DIN 931, DIN 960, DIN 961 and DIN 6921. Our range includes options with standard metric threads, suitable for most assemblies, or fine threads, ideal for high-precision joints or those exposed to vibrations.

8.8 and 10.9 grade screws

We offer hexagonal screws of different strengths to choose from depending on the specific requirements of each job. While 8.8 grade screws are designed for joints that are not subject to very demanding loads, 10.9 grade screws are designed to withstand significant stresses in more complex jobs.

Our range of hexagonal fasteners also includes models made of different materials and with different coatings to suit the environment of use, such as black steel, zinc-plated, hot-dip galvanised or A2 and A4 stainless steel. We also have brass versions, which offer high corrosion resistance and improve the aesthetic finish of the job.

DIN hexagonal screws

The use of DIN hexagonal screws ensures the compatibility of parts in joints that use standardised fasteners. At Chavesbao, we work with some of the most commonly used standardised screws for the assembly of structures or machinery.

  • DIN 933: full thread screw, used in general metal fastenings.
  • DIN 931: partially threaded screw, commonly used in machinery assembly.
  • DIN 960 / DIN 961: fine thread versions, suitable for precision assemblies or those that must withstand vibrations.
  • DIN 6921: screw with knurled collar, which incorporates a ribbed base to prevent loosening.

Main uses of hexagon head screws

Thanks to their robust, versatile and easy-to-install design, hexagon head screws are suitable for a wide variety of professional applications. From metal structures to agricultural machinery, they are a safe solution for both heavy-duty assemblies and more specific technical joints. Installation using a wrench or socket makes work easier even in environments with limited access, making it a common choice in construction, maintenance and industry.

Its wide availability in different mechanical qualities, lengths, threads and materials means it can be adapted to multiple technical requirements, from standard applications to environments with high exposure to corrosion or high strength requirements.

Custom hexagonal fasteners

In addition to our standard catalogue, we offer a custom fastener service to meet the needs of projects with specific requirements. We are able to create 100% customised models, adapting the screws to the dimensions, materials, finishes or mechanical properties of each application.
