DIN 1480 tensioners for adjusting and tensioning cables

The DIN 1480 tensioner works by means of a threaded central body which, when turned, brings its ends closer together or separates them, generating tension in the cable or fastening element. This system allows for progressive adjustments and maintains uniform tension throughout the assembly.

How to choose the right tensioner

It is essential to select a model that complies with DIN 1480 and is compatible with the fastening system, and to observe the maximum permissible load indicated for each tensioner.
In outdoor or exposed environments, the material directly influences corrosion resistance: carbon steel is suitable for general use, while A4 stainless steel is recommended in more corrosive conditions. Correct assembly, with the threads aligned and without overloading the system, ensures a secure fit and reliable performance in tensioning and fastening applications.
