Allen screws with hexagonal drive for demanding fastenings

Our Allen screws are designed to provide precise fastenings in confined spaces. Thanks to their internal hexagonal drive, they allow high tightening torques to be applied with compact tools, making them ideal for secure fastenings in assemblies where access is limited. In our catalogue, you will find standardised models suitable for mechanical applications, metal structures, precision systems or environments with high maintenance requirements. They are available with full or partial metric threads, facilitating their integration into industrial assemblies and standardised components.

Types of Allen screw heads and their applications

Allen screws are available in different head formats, each designed to meet specific assembly needs. This variety allows the fastener to be adapted to the available space, mechanical requirements or desired finish, while maintaining compatibility with standard tools.

Cylindrical head – DIN 912:

This is the most common type of Allen screw. Its robust design allows high tightening torques to be applied, making it widely used in machinery, metal structures and applications subject to vibration. It is available in carbon steel or A2/A4 stainless steel, with zinc or black coatings and grades 8.8, 10.9 and 12.9.

Countersunk head – DIN 7991:

Allows the screw to be flush with the surface, ideal for moving parts, visible joints or aesthetic requirements. Common in electronics, technical furniture or precision systems. Also known as flat head Allen screws, they are available in carbon steel or A2/A4 stainless steel, with coatings and grade 10.9.

Round head – ISO 7380:

Provides a more refined aesthetic with a good support surface. Round head Allen screws are used in metal covers, panels or visible fastenings. Available in ISO 7380-1 (standard) and 7380-2 (with integrated washer to improve load distribution) versions, in carbon or stainless steel, grade 10.9.

Low cylindrical head – DIN 7984:

Designed with a reduced height, it facilitates assembly in limited spaces or areas with little vertical clearance. Ideal for compact equipment or precision mechanisms. Available in carbon steel, black finish and grade 8.8.

Headless screws – DIN 913 and DIN 916

Known as Allen studs or bolts. DIN 913 has a flat tip and is used to immobilise parts; DIN 916 has a conical tip, suitable for flush retention. Both are available in A2 stainless steel.

Thanks to this variety of heads, Allen screws are easily adapted to demanding technical applications, ensuring precise fastening, optimised assembly and safe maintenance.

Allen screws available in zinc-plated and stainless steel

Our selection of Allen screws includes models in zinc-plated steel, suitable for indoor applications or low-corrosion environments. For outdoor installations or sectors such as automotive, food or street furniture, we have A2 stainless steel screws. And for highly corrosive environments, such as marine or chemical areas, we offer A4 stainless steel versions. This variety allows you to choose the most appropriate material according to the environment and the mechanical requirements of the assembly.

Custom Allen screws

In addition to our standard catalogue, we offer a custom screw service to meet the needs of projects with specific requirements. We can create 100% customised models, adapting the screws to the dimensions, materials, finishes or mechanical properties of each application.
